International human rights organziation (IHRO) hold Protest against merging of B.Sc Nursing colleges
Jammu, Nov 26: B.Sc Nursing Colleges Gandhi Nagar and Gangyal is going to be merged which is not a good decision. International Human Rights Organisation (IHRO) under the supervision of Adv Pardeepak Singh Chib Chairman IHRO today hold strong protest against this decision Akhash Bhagat Provincial youth President Jammu (IHRO) lead the protest said that the strength of theses colleges is so high. It is very difficult for students to adjust there; As there is no proper infrastructures, no hostel facilities available, very low space for classrooms. No proper road connectivity, Students have to walk a lot of the way and that passes through narrow streets to reach college campus.
According to the budget, an amount of 8 crores was spent on the college campus, but when the students went to the college campus, they found that the class rooms were in a dilapidated condition, the labs were broken, and many things had been stolen. When this was complained to the college staff, they did not pay special attention to it.
Speaking on the occasion Shubam Langer (State Youth President, IHRO ) said It is also found that there is no adequate security arrangement in the college campus, no CCTV cameras were installed. This was the reason that a lot of college stuff was stolen. Langer demands inquiry of stolen stuff of college and punishment for culprits.
No security guard were deployed for the safety of the students, considering the need of the hour security guard should be deployed for the safety of the students so that the students can feel safe.
Merging of both the colleges is not a good initiative, it will affect the studies of students as there is no proper infrastructure for them and also it will create a pressure on administration.
