In this article i will explain you what you have to do now as JKBOPEE announced merit list/result. As most of students have doubts related it.
In merit list JKBOPEE has alloted Ranks to the students and on the basis of these ranks Counseling/selection will be done as explained below
FIRST ROUND OF COUNSELLING
After merit list, Jkbopee will now release separate notification (counselling notification) for first round of counselling. For year 2020 & 2021 JKBOPEE conducted first round offline in which they called students physically in bopee office But for 2022 JKBOPEE conducted first round in online mode so we will explain online mode of first round
First bopee will issue a notification for online counseling, in which Jkbopee will set eligible cutoff (e.g 30 as last yr) and all the candidates having marks above eligibility cuttoff can participate in online choice filling, dates for which will ne indicated in notification.
In choice filling candidates have to select colleges with course as per their preference and submit 1000₹ counseling fee online.
And after last date of choice filling or online counseling JKBOPEE will allot college and course to Candidates acording to rank and preference given. First bopee will see first preference of candidate and if that is available bopee will allot it, otherwise they will move to next preference provided by candidate and so on, and if college/seat prefered by student is not available he/she will not get any college in first round.
Then bopee will release selction list in which there will be colleges alloted to students as described above. In selection list there will be also last date mentioned for admission. So selected candidates will do admission in alloted college.
And the students who will not do admission, their seat will remain vaccant in this round and college will send list of vaccant seats to JKBOPEE for next round.

2nd round of counselling:
After last date for first round admission, jkbopee recieves list of vacant seats from colleges, (seats get vacant as all the students do not complete admission the reason is that they are not intrested.
So jkbopee will isue another notification for conducting 2nd round in which they can decrease cutoff limit but its not mandatory. 2nd round is always physical/offline, they will release schedule rank wise and day wise, students has to visit accordingly. But there are some limits for second round:
1. Candidates who got college in first round but did not joined alloted college is not eligible for second round..This all procedure is written by malik adnan, K.G.JK admin..
2. All the candidates who got college, admitted themselves in college are eligible and can change college if available at their turn, they will get fee and docs returned from previous college.
3. All the candidates (upto eligibility cuttoff) who have not participated in first round are eligible.
4. Candidates who did not got seat in 1st round are eligible
The procedure for 2nd round is as follows:
In physical counselling candidate have to first visit jkbopee office as per rank wise schedule then in morning they have to fill a prefrence form and 1000₹ payment (counselling fee, if not submitted in first round) . After filling forms they will be called one by one by counselling comittee and comittee will show you all the available seats at your turn, so you can choose any of the available seat, and you get confirmation there, students have also choice that if there is not intrested seat available you can opt for CNA (CHOICE NOT AVAILABLE), and if you opt for CNA you are eligible next round.
After 2nd round gets completed jkbopee will release selection list of 2nd round like first one and candidates have to visit alloted college for admission.
3rd round of counselling:
(in 2020 and 2021 3rd round was conducted but in 2022 3rd round was not conducted so 2nd round was final and mop-up round last year)
3rd round is also conducted due to vacancies. Jkbopee may further decreases eligibility cuttoff (but not mandatory).In this round jkbopee on first day of this round calls only category candidates upto cutoff rank and if any category seat remains it is converted into open merit then on 2nd day and onwards of 3rd round seats are filled under open merit. It has also some rules
1.Candidates who got college in 2nd round but did not joined alloted college is not eligible for 3rd round
2.Candidates who got college in first round but did not joined alloted college is eligible for 3rd round
3. Candidates who upgraded or changed in 2nd round are not eligible in 3rd round.
4. Candidates who have not participated in any round are eligible.
After completing 3rd round 3rd selection list will be released and candidates have to complete admission in respective colleges
4th round is rare, in 2020 jkbopee conducted 4th round but in 2021 and 2022 bopee did not conducted 4th round.
