The RRB NTPC (Railway Recruitment Boards Non-Technical Popular Categories Exam) is a competitive exam conducted by the Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRB) in India. It is aimed at recruiting candidates for various non-technical positions in the Indian Railways.
Notification: The RRB NTPC 10+2 recruitment notification was released on September 21, 2024.
Vacancies: A total of 3445 Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) 10+2 Inter Level posts are available.
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Class 10+2 (or equivalent) with a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 33 years as on January 1, 2025. Age relaxation is provided as per government rules.
Application: The online application process is open from September 21, 2024 to October 20, 2024.
Exam Fee: The exam fee varies depending on the category of the candidate.
Exam Pattern: The RRB NTPC 10+2 exam consists of two stages:
CBT 1: A computer-based test with 100 questions in General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning sections. The duration is 90 minutes.
CBT 2: A computer-based test with 120 questions in General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning sections. The duration is 120 minutes.
Negative Marking: There is a negative marking of ⅓rd mark for each incorrect answer in both CBT 1 and CBT 2.
Result: The result for CBT 1 will be announced on the official RRB websites. Candidates who qualify CBT 1 will be eligible for CBT 2.
Final Selection: The final selection will be based on the combined score of CBT 1 and CBT 2, along with document verification and medical examination.
